Firstly, thank you so much for supporting this project and our much loved line dancing world - it is your continued support that moves this wonderful industry forward.

I have been developing this project since the end of 2017. It was an idea born from the passion I have for an industry I have performed in for over 20 years now. I love it and everything it has to offer.

The line dance industry has been, and still is, supported by some great established companies and websites who have really done a great job in developing it so that it has become what it is today. This project is in place simply to compliment the existing resources and to provide extra support to the industry of line dance as a whole.

I have spent over a year consistently talking to instructors from all over the world about this industry and how they run their busy line dancing lives. I will say one thing - most instructors I speak to, do what they do out of total passion for dance. it’s as simple as that! Most are manically busy with their normal lives, let alone having to learn new dances, resource new teaches, support their dance classes, support their dancers, organise socials and market their business to newcomers. It is these instructors and classes that really are the backbone of the line dance movement and they are the reason that this project is in place.

ELD will continue to be developed around the instructors, dancers, artists, choreographers, DJs and promotors to assist and support their busy line dancing lives.

I would like to personally thank everyone who has given advice, feedback, support and, most importantly, their valuable time to this project. It would not have been possible without you. Lastly, a very big thank you to my Dad for my childhood computer training and helping me find my inner geek.
