I started line dancing in 1991 in Toronto at the same time as I started square dancing. Back then, the country bar (Badlands) was my second home, spending every spare minute dancing. A few years later, and a few different locations later, I helped out with dj'ing, maintaining the website, and dabbled a bit in teaching. As time went on, I taught on a more regular basis to small classes. I was recently approached (June 9th 2021) by a fellow dancer Donna M. (a sister from another mister), about choreographing a dance together, even though we weren't living in the same city any more. I had my doubts about knowing where to start, but between the two of us, we figured out which steps we wanted for this particular song (Save Your Tears). After about a week of back and forth, we had the basics of what a step sheep (script) looked like. It took more tweaking and we each made a video at home, and with the help of iMovie, I was able to split our videos on one screen.
