I started dancing at the early age of 3.
Majorettes, ballet, tap, jazz and Irish, the more the better really, as I just couldn't get enough.

I did ISTD and ARAD ballet and jazz exams growing up, about a million Irish dance feis's! Along with music studies (but dance won out in the end)

Dance college in Dublin was my next adventure, where I spent two years. Closely followed by Broadway Dance Centre, New York to focus on Hip Hop and Tap. That was just amazing!

I started line dancing when I was 13, it was the new craze sweeping over Ireland.
I started my club, The Silver Spurs in 1995 and it's been going ever since. It wasn't easy to keep it running when I was away at college but luckily for me, my mother is also a line dance instructor so the ball was never dropped. We have a great club running now, with lots of dancers, always up for the craic!!

I've been enjoying travelling to overseas line dance events over the last few years.
I've been with the crazy duo Teresa & Vera a couple of times, I love these two women, they gave me my first taste into working at a UK event. And now there's lots more on the cards.

I love what I do, it's not a job to me, it's just life. "Find something you love and you'll never work a day". How true :)
