Chloé Ourties

I was born in Toulouse in the South of France. Growing up there, I started line dancing socially at 12 years old after seeing a country line dance demonstration from the club of which my mother was a member. My passion for dancing only grew ever since, and I got into competition at 16 years old, in 2013. In 2017, I began couple dancing with Daniel Trepat in the ProAm division.
In the same year, I moved to The Netherlands to study for a Master of International Tourism Destination Management, following my strong interest in travel. Besides, I had the ambition to pursue my passion for dancing and started training with Roy Verdonk at the Dutch Dance Academy. I then entered the Roy Verdonk Dancers team with which I have now been performing for 5 years.
During these last years, I expanded my horizons to other dance styles, especially West Coast Swing. In October 2021, I participated, together with Roy Verdonk, in the DansMarathon live on Dutch TV. Presently, I am still competing and reached the Advanced level within the GOLD organisation. Moreover, I am currently giving technique private & group lessons as well as teaching line dance social workshops all over Europe. Recently, I also started choreographing dances which I really enjoy doing, and am working on new exciting projects.
