Classes...
We have one class in Garstang on a Thursday night. See class details for info regarding how the class is arranged.
About me...
I have been line dancing since the age of 10. I was taken to an event by a friend’s mum in 1997 and from then on was hooked!
It is something I look forward to each and every week. I relied on many other, older dancers give me a lift to and from classes. I learnt a lot from these ladies not only the dances!
Once I could drive the world was my oyster and I attended classes nearly every night of the week including socials at the weekend mainly run by Jean Webb of Fancy Feet Blackpool. A place where I met some great people as well as learning many many dances. I was super keen to learn new dances and enjoyed a challenge.
With regards to teaching, I began a small class in Great Eccleston at the age of 17 and then took over an established class in Garstang around 2004. This is the class I still run to this date.
I am a full time primary school teacher and now have a small child so don’t dance as much as I would like but it is always there and I go to Fancy Feet as much as possible.
Line dancing is part of my life and it always will be. I will always be a line dancers and hope to do more in the future. I love the range of music (particularly country) and enjoy learning new dances.
