Jamie Barnfield

I first started Line Dancing in Nov 1996 with a local club called Heroes & Villains. Within 6 months of dancing with them I became part of the clubs competition team, competing for the first time in the team division at the British Championships held at Wembley Arena in 1997. We came first!!
Very soon after in the same year I became an instructor for the club and started running classes in the Gloucestershire area.
The years went on and I found myself teaching for other clubs and helping out other instructors in the area.

In 2011 "Boogie Shoes" (my club) was born! It started off with one class on a Thursday night and has then since grown. In 2012 I left full time employment to pursue my club and dancing as my main career. As of today I run 14 classes over 4 nights and one daytime class and teach anything between 250 to 300 dancers a week. Along with monthly Socials and annual weekends away throughout the year.

I also love to choreograph and am proud to say that one of my dances "Let It Swing" has been nominated for 2 years on the run at the Linedancer Crystal Boot Awards. Other dances I have choreographed include:

Bringing you up to date. Along with running my club (Boogie Shoes) I am very fortunate to be traveling around the UK and across seas teaching as a guest choreographer at other clubs events. I am also very honoured to say I have also been nominated in 2017 as Male Personality Of The Year, Instructor Of The Year & Choreographer of The Year at the Linedancer Crystal Boot Awards.
