Nikky Napier is the founder member of CALICO. Formed in 1999 under the guidance of close friend Glenn Rogers,with the intention of being a professional and exciting line dance band with a modern, punchy, driving sound & has progressed from pop and rock to bring her powerful voice to the line dance circuit. Nikky's talent and determination to be a top-class dance act steered her into learning songs in other languages & is renowned for the "Spanish numbers".
Over the years Nikky has had the pleasure & lasting friendships of her Calico band members, including Brian Bennett, Bazza Edmonston, Cliff Weston, Rob (The Professor) Hyman, Richard Edlin, AC Clarke, Natalie Thurlow, Ian Walton & Darren Flack.
Her hard work and dedication in both live and recording sessions has earned her a wealth of experience in sound production and stage presence.
Now solo and 25 years on, travelling all over Europe & beyond, Nikky will always give a powerful, entertaining & professional performance. A full night of country music or the very latest in the dance charts.
As well as four highly regarded Crystal Boot Awards as Calico, Nikky has received her own solo Crystal Boots in January 2023, 2024 and now 2025 as Artist of the Year and nominated for UKLDA Awards 2023, 2024 & 2025.
